1. RENTAL ELIGIBILITY
- Riders must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid government-issued photo ID is required.
- A valid credit card is required at the time of rental.
- All riders must sign our Liability Waiver before riding.
2. RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT
All rentals are by reservation only.
Reservations may be made online or by calling E-Bike Horizon.
Customers may choose:
- Pay in full online (recommended) for the fastest and smoothest delivery experience.
- Pay a 25% reservation deposit at booking, with the remaining balance due at the time of delivery.
3. RENTAL PERIODS
We offer the following rental options:
Rental periods begin and end at the times confirmed during your reservation.
4. SCHEDULED DELIVERY & PICKUP
- Every rental includes scheduled delivery and pickup within our St. Simons Island service area.
- Delivery locations and appointment times are coordinated during booking.
- Please be available at your scheduled delivery appointment.
- If you are running late, contact us as soon as possible so we can adjust when possible.
5. RENTAL APPOINTMENT
Most appointments take approximately 10-15 minutes.
During your appointment we will:
- Verify your ID
- Collect any remaining payment
- Complete required paperwork
- Obtain your signed Liability Waiver
- Fit your helmet
- Provide a safety orientation
- Demonstrate how to operate your e-bike
6. LATE RETURNS
Bikes must be available for pickup at the agreed return time.
- Late returns may result in additional rental charges.
- If you need additional riding time, please contact us before your scheduled return. Extensions are subject to availability.
7. SECURITY HOLD
valid credit or debit card is required to reserve every rental.
E-Bike Horizon reserves the right to place a temporary authorization or security hold when necessary to cover unpaid balances, lost equipment, excessive cleaning. or damages beyond normal wear and tear, where permitted by our payment processor and applicable law.
8. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
E-Bike Horizon reserves the right to refuse or terminate any rental when necessary to protect the safety of our customers, staff, equipment, the public.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Impairment by alcohol or drugs
- Unsafe or reckless behavior
- Misuse of rental equipment
- Violation of our policies
- Providing false or misleading information

IMPORTANT RIDING RULES
NO BEACH RIDING
Riding on the beach is prohibited.
NO CAUSEWAY CROSSING
Do not take bikes across the causeway or off the island.
NO RIDING WHILE IMPAIRED
Never ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
NO RECKLESS RIDING
Ride safely and respect others and local laws.
WEAR YOUR HELMET
Helmets must be worn at all times.
